Each weekend during #BlackHistoryMonth, #SniderHockey & Education will feature one player and one educator who helped change the game of hockey or the academic world. Today, we are recognizing jamalmayers22, former nhl right winger, who played 10 seasons with the stlouisblues and won a Stanley Cup with the nhlblackhawks Mayers retired after 15 seasons, but always stayed involved in the hockey community, now serving as the Community & Youth Advisor for the Blues. Mayers is also the author of Hockey Is For Me, the book that all of our Snider Learn to Skate students receive when beginning their hockey journey!
