Here's a slice of #MemoryMesh I tied into my Duel on May 6th, after 100-200 daily wallball reps and less than half of that amount in shots, some of both in the rain. [Take this with a grain of salt; I'm not a professional player throwing rockets at the wall.] Before I took this picture I dropped a ball in just to show where it sits in the pocket. The ball sits just under the bottom rolled shooter during the wind-up, and the release on shots and passes has not changed at all since I strung it. The mesh softens a little bit when you stretch it out and string it, but it feels and plays like a semi-hard mesh when you cradling. It holds the ball very well; I only used 8 mesh diamonds in this sidewall pattern [check learn2string, or tap #stxduelpattern if you'd like the pattern] and the hold is still remarkable. I got these pretty stiff sidewall strings along with this mesh, I am not sure if they are STX or not, but they have stayed very tight over the past [almost] 2 months. I digress...
I really like this stuff. Soft enough to fall into place during groundballs after faceoffs, and holds its shape exceptionally, ensuring consistent passes and shots.
