Here is my #stringleague week 4 entry!  This weeks challenge was to create a unique drop top string. I used a variant of my three star drop top string and put it on a hawk pocket in a stxmlax hammer u. The leathers are suspended in the head by the bases of the star.  The two center leathers are held separated by the double thick coil. This coil also serve as a shooter or nylon.  The drop top allows you to have a lower pocket but still have the quick release of high pockets. The rest of the pocket is strung with a hawk pocket which provides a ton of hold and a nice smooth consistent release.
