"I can remember looking through Joel Osteen's website for information about the Night of Hope in Miami and debating whether I would go, but also while browsing on the site came across the Find A Church tab. Having searched for churches in my area in the past I wasn't sure I'd find any place new, but that's where I saw Pastor Steve and Mary Alessi at Metro Life Church listed. I decided to check out the website and made up my mind that I would visit the Dadeland Campus on the first Sunday of March 2017. The moment I stepped in, everyone was so nice and joyous that it was a little overwhelming for me. I was introduced to the Campus Pastors, who genuinely seemed to care, was led into the sanctuary for praise and worship, sat through the message Pastor Steve gave on living a generous life, and afterwards turned in my first time guest card on the way out knowing that this was a church that I could call home. After a few more visits I signed up for STEPS and had the opportunity to not only learn more about the foundation of the church, but met and got to know some great people along the way. I now serve on the Greeters Team at Dadeland, hoping to help bring that same feeling that I got when I walked into MLC the very first time to others. It's clear to me that Metro Life Church is really all about relationship, relationship, relationship and with every Sunday service, connect group, and event that I attend I see that even more and am thankful to be a part of this growing family!" - Sophie Morno
