This roll of film had the weirdest damn journey. I mailed it, along with close to another dozen rolls, the Monday after the fest. Normally I would get a nice email once the shipping label was created and set for delivery to the good folks at @indiefilmlab. But I didn't. And then Wednesday came and I hadn't received any order processing information from Indie. So I called the lab and found out they hadn't seen my order roll through at all. Not good, right?
So after asking for some help to track down the package to no avail, one of my day job coworkers tells me he thinks he has a text I'd like to see. It was a message from another coworker, in Chicago, not Alabama, with a picture of my film that I had thought was lost forever. To say I was stoked would be putting it lightly. After that, it was all good and we got the film to the lab.

Another weird bit is some weird effect that showed up on a lot of the frames from this roll. The film backing seemed to have transferred through, with the Kodak logo showing up on 80% of the negatives, and some weird spotting showing up throughout the frame. Not cool, but regardless, still stoked on this frame of my buddy Pees. Stoked to get some more film from our hangout time in Melbourne out to Indie this week.
