Something a little…ok, very…different to announce that I'll be doing a little takeover on the @indiefilmlab Instagram account for the next few days, on top of a little feature they did on me and my work on their blog today. Indie has been my go to lab for so dang long and I'm super stoked to be able to share some of my favorite images on their account tomorrow through Friday.

Going along with the images, I'd love to share some photo nerdery, so if there's anything y'all are curious about, let me know and I'll try to work it in on their IG over the rest of the week.

This image is one I love for a few reasons. First, it's ridiculous. Straight up ridiculous. Two people and a chihuahua all in bunny costumes? Yeah. That is strange. Second: I completely forgot I had even taken it. It happens a lot with film because my fridge is FULL of exposed film that I'm slowly working on getting out to Indie to be processed and scan. Third: it's a very rad tradition in one of my favorite places. Where else can I buy way too much Fred Perry after eating a delicious grilled cheese and before getting some super good ice cream. Fourth: dogs. Look at that chihuahua. He looks about as judgmental as a dog in a bunny costume can. Rumor is, his name is Dr Grandpa. Last: it's just so different from other images I normally take. The depth of field is deep, the subjects are 100% strangers, one of few "street" images I've ever taken, and it's with a tool I believe I'm still learning.

So yeah, Indie takeover. It starts tomorrow. If you aren't already, give them a follow, and watch for a few posts over the next few days.
