I met Matty this summer while I was doing another quick shoot on Warped this summer and after that shoot reached out to do a quick portrait of him before my two weeks of Warped ended. We shot this in one of the main stage trailers before the day started in Camden.

The biggest reason I chose this particular image this week is that Sunday will be A Loss for Words last show in Dallas. A band that I've seen play a sold out (or damn near) Chain Reaction, Trees, Warped, and certainly other venues, I get to see one last time at a venue right behind the lofts Jordan and I used to live in in Deep Ellum. I'm sad to be seeing the end of a band I've enjoyed so much, but excited I'll be able to sing along one more time.
