I remember my first time seeing Balance and Composure at The Prophet Bar in Dallas on a fucking phenomenal tour with Make Do and Mend and Polar Bear Club. It was a tiny room where I had also seen Straylight Run years before. I wasn't too sure what to expect from Balance and Composure but had heard nothing but great things from all of my friends and was stoked to finally see them live. They won a fan that night. There's something special about seeing a band like that just kill it in front of 150-200 kids, stage dives all night, and so much intensity as the energy seemed to crest higher and higher as the night went on. Move to SBSW this year, seeing them play to a couple thousand kids all singing along after waiting outside all day in the rain, that's fucking awesome. While I wouldn't be opposed to seeing them again in that small ass room, it's great seeing bands you love be able to play to crowds like that, especially after seeing them at such small shows.

With them playing in the rain during this set, it took some much restraint to not work in a Tiny Raindrops pun. I'm kinda proud of myself, y'all. Also, I'm almost ready to blog up these photos, so look for that next week and stuff.
