I've always been a bit hesitant to shoot Ektar after shooting a test roll last year and getting less than ideal skin tones. Super red, unflattering skin. I'd seen some rad work around of people shooting Ektar and giving it a push in processing and thought I'd give it a go with some BTS portraits at SBSW last month and I'm pretty dang stoked with the results. Solid skin tones, good colors, nice contrast. Definitely won me over, might even start shooting it over Portra400 as a 400 speed film.
