He is an American singer, musician, songwriter, record producer, actor and author. "Weird Al" is best known for creating comedy songs that highlight pop culture and parody specific songs by contemporary musicians. His work has earned him five Grammy Awards and a further 11 nominations, four gold records, and six platinum records in the U.S.
