The Belmont section of the Bronx, fondly known as Bronx Little Italy traces its roots to the 1700s and has changed in some ways; however, the neighborhood’s foundational traits continue to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.  This neighborhood has been a critical part of economic development and has served as a cultural engine of the borough and city. The authentic Italian culture in this vibrant community provides an old-world ambiance for any visit.
