Today’s #SpringSeniorDay features Christine Sturm of the women’s salisbury_xctf team. A distance runner from Denton, Md., Christine will be graduating this spring with a degree in accounting. She plans to attend the University of South Carolina this coming fall where she will be enrolled in their Masters of Accounting program while taking the CPA.

On her favorite memories of being an SU student-athlete: “There are a few races that I will never forget. One was my freshman year when I ran a personal best in the 5K with a time of 18:43 while placing third at the capitalathleticconference Championships. The second race was senior year when I hit a personal best in the indoor mile, finishing the race in 5:23. The final one is when a ran the distance medley relay at the ecacsports Championships where we placed first overall while setting a new school record.” “I want to thank all of my teammates and coaches for supporting and believing in me. The sport has allowed me to grow into the person I am today, teaching me so many valuable lessons I will cherish forever. Thank you to everyone who has made this possible!”
