It’s been really hard growing this blog but I’m having so much fun. I’ve connected with such brilliant photographers, models, dancers, designers etc. Its made me truly believe in the mission of promoting South Asian Artists. I hope one day this magazine can motivate South Asians to pursue careers in all Art forms. To not be afraid and go after  what their hearts desire. This photo reminded me of the heavy weights I lifted off my shoulders in my senior year of university. I was so lost, pursuing a career that didn’t excite me. I’m still trying to figure it out but changing my mindset has made me happier. Moving toward activities/things I love. I realized that I had been chasing stability my whole life and was missing opportunities where my true passions lied. It’s not about how much money you make, but how you can impact the lives of others. I then decided to start this blog to inspire South Asians to pursue their passions as well. I found that there is so much talent in our South Asian Community but I felt those individuals needed a support system. I felt they didn’t believe their work was good enough due to the stigma in our culture of pursuing art as a career. Yet Art is the most powerful form of expression that can impact millions of people. No matter how hard it is to reach an audience, I hope that for anyone following let this blog be your support system to follow your passions, break barriers, and say fuck it to industry preferences ✊🏽
