Happy #FundraisingFriday! Jillian is running for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation in honor of her friend's dad! "'Courage doesn't mean you don't get afraid. Courage means you don't let fear stop you' Only 2 weeks in and I am obsessed with this NYC Marathon training journey.  With so much going on in life I let running get away from me and didn't enjoy the occasional run I did go on.  These past two weeks have been an amazing mental journey.  The support and encouragement I have gotten from others is helping to calm the nerves.  I am taking this one day at a time, one run at a time, and one mile at a time. & going forward this is how I want my life to be - living in the moment each day - appreciating what is right in front of me rather than wasting time on problems I self-create.  I don't want to be normal, I am meant for more than that.  Destiny has more in store I am ready to build my future on brick at a time. I want to thank everyone who has donated to my Marathon Fundraising for Multiple Myeloma it truly means the world to me and so many families out there who are fighting for their loved ones each day, and to those out there who have lost someone close to them.  Many of these individuals were never able to physically run a marathon to raise awareness for these diseases, but I plan to do it for them. I plan to cross the finish line on November 1st with countless special people attached - I plan to cross it with my childhood best friend's Papa watching over me, my friend Lindsay's father's fight, and thousands of spirits cheering me on."
