"'Dear Family, Friends, & Fans,
I will be running the 2015 #TCSNYCMarathon as a TeamforKids Ambassador on November 1! Team for Kids charity running team raises funds for youth running programs for kids who would otherwise have little or no access to regular physical activity. These programs, events, and resources serve more than 200,000 children in #NYC schools throughout the five boroughs and across the U.S.

This will be my second marathon, but my first experience taking on the five boroughs of #NewYorkCity. I’m going to give it my all, joining more than 50,000 runners from around the world, as we come together to take on the race of a lifetime. I’m so excited for this challenge and can’t wait to help inspire others by spreading the message of how important fitness and physical activity is, starting from a young age.

Running the TCS New York City Marathon with Team for Kids will help hundreds of thousands of kids to get healthy and fit through sport.  Running has helped me to keep my body healthy and my mind focused and happy. It has plugged me into a whole community of runners that all love to support each other, and have a lot of fun.
