Talvez a regra mais polêmica do Beach Tennis, o FOOT FAULT é uma falta que o atleta comete quando antes de efetuar o golpe do saque ele tem contato com a linha ou a quadra. 
Dificilmente em um torneio (principalmente amador) é possível ter arbitragem nas quadras, com isso o FOOT FAULT acaba sendo uma regra pouco aplicada. 
Porém “muita atenção” pois se o árbitro decidir apitar a infração não existe LET e a perda do ponto é imediata. 
Ps. Outra curiosidade é que o atleta não pode fazer um movimento de corrida e salto como no volley, o famoso “viagem ao fundo do mar” , isso tambem é proibido 🚫 e caracterizado como Foot fault.

Perhaps the most controversial rule of Beach Tennis, FOOT FAULT is a foul that the athlete commits when, before making the serve stroke, he has contact with the line or court.
Hardly in a tournament (mainly amateur) is to have arbitration on the courts, with that FOOT FAULT ends up being a rule little applied.
However, “a lot of attention” because if the referee decides to whistle the infraction, there is no LEAVE and the loss of the point is immediate.
Ps.  Another curiosity is that the athlete cannot make a movement of running and jumping as in volleyball, the famous “trip to the bottom of the sea”, this is also prohibited 🚫 and used as Foot fault.
