Are you still deciding if attending the Rosen College Career & Experiential Learning Fair is right for you? Let's resolve the myths: 
Myth #1: Career Fairs are just for seniors. ➡️There are 70 companies attending the Rosen Career & Experiential Learning Fair that are interested in hiring co-ops and interns as well as fulfilling full-time and part-time positions. 
Myth #2: I’m graduating in May. I’ve got plenty of time to look for a job. ➡️Not necessarily! Students are finding that looking for a full-time job takes up to 4 to 6 months. So why are you waiting?  Start your job search now and start networking with employers. This is a valuable way to ask for informational interviews, which may lead to meeting more people and could help you get a job offer. 
Myth #3: No one goes to Career Fairs anymore. ➡️In a recent national survey taken by Universum, students ranked attending a Career Fair in their top 3 ways of having face time with employers. 
Myth #4: I don’t have time to prepare and don’t know what I would say to an employer, so I shouldn’t attend. ➡️Helpful and simple tips to consider: -Attend the Rosen Career & Experiential Learning Fair with a positive attitude. -Research fair success tips online or attend a last minute workshop! -Review and have someone (not a close friend) critique your resume. -Check out hospitality.ucf.edu/careerfair for the list of attending exhibitors and research companies you’re interested in meeting with. -Visit the Ready Room where Rosen Alumni will further assist you with final preparations for meeting employers!
