I was able to stay in my hometown, to be surrounded by family and have some support while adjusting to the new college lifestyle. Also, I was able to receive my amazing internship with the Human Performance Center (uofmhpcenter) at the University of Memphis, and network for job opportunities, and community events. I believe that going to a college in your hometown can offer countless networking opportunities right in your very neighborhood! Thank you Memphis and the amazing village that helped me along the way."⁣
