## Caption

“I never in a million years would have imagined the day I would be on the front page of newspapers and featured in magazines. Addiction, especially substance abuse, makes you feel so devalued as a person, that you have irrecoverably ruined your life. But that’s not true.

Every opportunity, every success, every piece of recognition, I don’t treat lightly. I see them as a sacred responsibility, to speak harder truths, to stand with those in need, and to better myself as a person every day.

I am so grateful for the opportunities to share this amazing journey. And as long as it continues to help people, I will continue to share it. Thank you all for the love and support.”
