Here it comes. 3 days left before the 2022 Freestyle Kayak World Championships. 🇬🇧🌎👑 

It is interesting to watch how different athletes deal with the pressures and stress. Personally I’m focusing on having fun, smiling, encouraging others and going out and doing my best effort with the tricks I have. Yes, I truly believe their are many athletes with better rides than mine, do I worry or stress about it, no. I’m going to just do my thing, focus on having the best World Championships that I can, and trying my best to leave a positive impact on others around me. That is all that is in my control. It’s taken me some years to think with this mindset, especially at the more “important” events (important is always relative). 5 years from now almost everyone will forget the place you get in the event, though people will always remember how you made them feel in the eddy or talking on the river bank.
