Happy Father's Day to all the Dads of the world. I have been blessed to have many father figures in my life; my uncles, my Father-in-Law ( ericjacksonkayak ), my Pappy & my Opa, though I will always have my Dad ( troutmanrick ). These men have taught me many great lessons in life. Some advise I would ignore, only to learn the hard way, and then realized how wise my father and these influential men in my life truly are. As I have become a father, I try my hardest to fill the large shoes of these great men, and only know do I realize many of the lessons that I have been taught. I only wish that I can help teach my kids the lessons of determination, hard work, confidence, hustle, and simple joy of life that have been passed on to me. I hope I can share my love for the outdoors, the caring for our planet, and happiness I have for life with my children. Though more then anything I just want to be a father of two beautiful, healthy children that know that they are loved. For that was one of the greatest gift I had as I child, and still have to this day, the knowledge that I have a Dad that will forever love me, no matter how far I travel away, no matter the mistakes I make, even when I run waterfalls he had told me not to, or defied his advice, or take a different path, no matter what I do, have done, or likely will do.
