Carter Mazur is NCHC Player of the Month for October. He is tied for first in the country with 10 goals and ranks first with four game-winners. 

Fellow DU forward Massimo Rizzo was also a finalist for the award, as he leads the NCHC with 11 assists and 13 points. He has recorded at least a point in 7-of-8 games and is on a four-game point streak.
