In honor of #BlackLegacyMonth, we will be spotlighting current and relatively recently graduated Black student-athletes who distinguished themselves while wearing the Green and White. We look back at the following athletes highlighted last week:

Jalen Mackie ‘22 dartmouth_football was a 2021 FCS Stats Third-Team All-American, a finalist for the Buchanan Award, Two-time Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week and finished 2nd in the airy League with 86 tackles!

Kaitlin Whitehorn ’16 of dartmouthtfxc 
• Three-time All-American in the high jump
• Six-time ivyleague Champion in high jump
• Holds program record with height of 6' 2.25"
• 2014 Outdoor Heps champion in 100m dash

Austin Meacham ’19 of dartmouthmlax 
• Senior captain
• Senior CLASS Award Candidate
• All-Ivy Second Team defenseman in 2018, honorable mention in 2017
• Led team in caused turnovers as a junior

Bomi Ogunlari ’24 of dartmouthvball 
• 5th on the team in points (135), kills (121) and blocks (27) in 1st season last fall
• Season-high 11 kills against New Hampshire
• One of five to appear in every match

Lucky Mkosana ’12 of dartmouthmsoccer 
• 2011 ivyleague Player of the Year
• 4-time 1st team All-Ivy
• Drafted by chicagofire in 2012 MLS SuperDraft
• Has played for tampabayrowdies since 2019
• 59 goals in 215 pro appearances

Idia Ihensekhien ’21 of dartmouthwrugby 
• 2021 NIRA Tournament MVP with 2 tries in championship game victory
• Two-time All-NIRA (All-American)
• Scored 3 tries in 2019 Ivy Rugby Championship victory

Garrison Wade ’22 dartmouthmbb 
• Leads team in blocks, second in rebounds and third in 3-pointers
• Career-high 15 points at Cornell on Jan. 2
• Co-founder of the Dartmouth Black-Student Athlete Alliance
