Fantastic initiative by Racing NSW with the announcement today on the back of the prizemoney increase for racing in NSW, that 1% (approx $2M) of all prizemoney will go to horse welfare. A welfare fund to be established for thoroughbreds to be cared for after racing, and also for those that didn't race, to be retrained & rehomed. #thoroughbred #racehorse #ottb #offthetrack #welfare #horseracing #racingnsw
