Congratulations to Allie Kieffer kiefferallie the winner of the Bridle Path FKT challenge. Allie ran the 5 mile course in 29:02 and did it style — with a moving time of 27:09. That’s not the way most people would attack an FKT attempt, but when you’re a 2:28 marathoner with a top five finish at the NYC Marathon under your belt, you’re allowed to play by your own set of rules.

As a prize for her record breaking run Allie will take home the brooklynrunningco gift card and swag bag and a pack of beer from eviltwinbrewingnyc. Excited to see what Allie does next! Let’s hope for the sake of Team Big City she doesn’t jump into any racing tournaments this fall!
