Meet Darryl Brown. 

“I was raised by my grandparents in the mushroom capital of the world, Kennett Square. I started running distance in 10th grade and never looked back. I’ve been sponsored with both Brooks and New Balance, and now at the age of 38 I feel like I’m still peaking. This shows in my 2:19 marathon this past January in Houston, which came a year and a half after being diagnosed with a heart condition and coming off of a stress fracture. It’s hard to name one single accomplishment I’m most proud of because they do not define my career. My goal is to be an inspiration to everyone I know and as long as I continue to do that, then I have accomplished everything I’ll ever need.”
