And just like that, we have 10 competitors remaining, down from 63! Round 3 was full of unexpected performances, unfortunate DNS and DNF’s and a group of very fast fit competitors who are hitting their stride just at the right moment! In order to have qualified for the finals you had to run the 5k under 17:45!  When all was said and done there were 8 competitors at 17:29 or faster, 6 at 17:15 or faster, and 2 under 16:40 😱

In the Women's Open Division, 10 competitors will toe the line this week for a 2000 meter race (5 laps around the track).

We've ranked our final 10 competitors based on their performances from the first 3 rounds.  Number's 1-3 are no surprise to those who have been following along. At #1 we have Jennifer Randall jrandz9 who has been scorching the Eugene track in Rounds 1-3 (10:19, 4:44, and 16:24) for 2 miles, 1 mile, and 5k. She's put 42 seconds on her nearest competitor with her 3 performances but she will not go down without a fight from this field.  #2 is Lauren Stroud laurun123 who has quietly clicked off solid performance after solid performance (10:32, 4:59, 16:38) and rounding out the top 3 is Amanda Asaro amanda.asaro who ran a blazing 4:56 mile in Round 2 and seems to be rounding into excellent shape with her recent 17:01. 4 and 5 belong to Jenny Donnelly and Emmi Aguillard. Jenny threw down a strong 10:47 in Round 1 while Emmi ran 17:15 for 5k in a major personal best. In the remaining 6-10 spots you have Meggie Sullivan, Sasha Whittle, Ana Johnson, Jordan Snyder Cunningham and Rose Mascoli, who could all crack the top 3 if things go their way. Meggie is a 4:18 1500 meter runner and Sasha just came off an insane 17:06 5k effort!  Get your popcorn ready for this one folks!
