It’s all come down to this, THE FINAL ROUND! In order to have qualified for the finals you had to run the 5k under 16:42 🤯! In Round 3 all 9 finalists ran between 16:00 and 16:42 which speaks volumes to the depth of quality in this division.

In the Men’s Masters Division, 9 competitors will toe the line this week for a 2000 meter race (5 laps around the track).

We’ve ranked our final 9 competitors based on their performances from the first 3 rounds.  Coming in at #1 we have Matthew Blunden matthew.blunden who has held the top time in all 3 rounds (10:06, 4:35, 16:00) for the 2 mile, mile, and 5k distances respectively.  You could make a strong case for our #2 ranked athlete Brock Butler bbutle02 who has been separated by less than 10 seconds in all 3 rounds combined (10:08, 4:35, and 16:08). Coming in at #3 is Joshua Gordon flashuaduck who has consistently held a top 3 spot throughout the rounds with a (10:10, 4:43, and 16:08). But don’t think for a second that John Becker becker158 or jeremy_ruston_ at the #4 or #5 spot can’t steal this thing. With John’s 4:41/10:16 speed and Jeremy’s sizzling 4:38 mile, these guys should not be discounted! Can Duncan, Scott, David or Sean sneak into the top 3 and disrupt the final leaderboard in this absolutely scary division? Duncan DID just drop a 16:08 and how can you count out a former 3:38 1500 guy in Scott? Stay tuned 🔥🔥🔥🔥
