Next up, meet Lennie Waite lenniew8 from Houston, Texas who competed for Rice University (multiple time All-American) and also internationally for Scotland and Great Britain in the steeplechase from 2009-2018 including the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio and 2017 World Championships in London.  She will take part in the Women’s Open Division starting next week!

Lennie gave birth in May 2019 and is now “in the run-for-fun but still competitive” stage of her career which included a recent PR in the 1/2 marathon in March, and was planning to run a marathon in May. “My speed isn’t quite what it used to be, but I still love the track!”
