Meet Lucas Manring lmanr800, formerly of Missouri who moved to Austin, TX where he competed professionally from 2013-2016.  Lucas will compete in the Men’s Open Division in our upcoming Beat the Heat Competition!

Over the past few years, Lucas has been competing in anything from road 5k’s to 12-hour adventure races in the Texas Hill Country, which combine the disciplines of trail racing, mountain biking, and paddling, all while orienteering with a map and a compass.

Lucas’s goals for 2020 are to run a sub 15 minute 5k and break 6 minutes in the beer mile. Check him out in less than 2 weeks when he opens up with a 2 mile!
