Young lions resting in a rain tree. Many places claim to be famous for tree-climbing lions, of which the Lower Zambezi gets its fair (lion's?) share. Whilst it may be true that some lions are more likely to climb than others, younger lions and lionesses - the more agile members of the pride - love to climb trees, especially in the late afternoon to catch the breeze and escape biting flies. #treeclimbinglions #chiawacamp #safari #zambia #zambezi
