Happy Superhero Day!

Well, technically, Happy Rise & Run Day! shalaneflanagan and elysekopecky’s third cookbook, Rise & Run, is officially out today, and as a Superhero Muffin fanatic, I am thrilled about this. (It has 24 new Superhero Muffin recipes, which just might get me to break out of my three-year Carrot-Apple routine.)

You'll hear from Shalane and Elyse — together! — this Thursday on the Ali on the Run Show. That conversation is a total celebration. We're celebrating their third cookbook. We're celebrating motherhood. We're celebrating each of their 40th birthdays! And we're celebrating marathons! Next week in New York City, Shalane will run her sixth and final marathon of her 42-day #ProjectEclipse quest to run all the wmmajors, and Elyse will make her marathon debut.
