The kind where the pond is at the top of the mountain. The kind where you have to take a jet boat to an island and then a helicopter the rest of the way. bradleyfriesen, a helicopter pilot and aerial photographer, is all about this kind of pond hockey. It took a couple years of planning, but Friesen's ambitions finally came to life last November in the form of a rink built on Pitt Lake in British Columbia where former players like Vancouver Canuck Manny Malhotra, #NHL veteran Geoff Courtnall and former University of Victoria in British Columbia goalie Federico Angel got to play 4-on-4 games in front of an awe-inspiring backdrop on top of transparent black ice that was six and a half inches thick. xshaydx photo. #hockey #pondhockey #pittlake #britishcolumbia #canada #thatviewtho"
