“How can you love animals more than people” is a question I’ve gotten many times. My response, is simply: “How can you not love both?” When I look into the eyes of a cow, dog or human, I see a soul. I see a capacity for love, and potential for pain. My goal is to leave as little pain and as much love on this planet before I die. Whether you have two legs or four, I love you. And if you hate me for my beliefs, I still love you. I donate blood for humans and abstain from slaughtering for animals. A very wise woman told me: “be change you want to see in the world”. I’m trying my best each day. You can too.
