It’s all too easy to feel sorry for yourself. Something bad happens. You want to blame the world, blame others, blame yourself. You’re in pain. You’re mad. You’re sad. But. Don’t. What you go through defines you. Your pain is an opportunity to grow. What keeps me going is I know someone else will one day be in my shoes. And I can reach out and help them the same way others have helped me. I must survive if I am to help others. And so must you. If you’re going through hell, keep going my friend. You’ll get there. I’m here. And one day you’ll be there for someone else that needs you too. Keep going.
