Step outside your comfort zones. When lyftlikelyss first handed me The Four Agreements, I took one look and said “this probably isn’t for me.” And then it hit me. How many great opportunities in my life have I missed because I thought something wasn’t a good fit, without even truly giving it a chance? I realized I’ve been living life on tunnel vision without seeing all the amazing possibilities coming from all sides. Take a step back, take a deep breath, it’s going to be scary to try new things, but that’s okay. That’s how you learn. How you grow. The next time you think “this isn’t for me”, that’s the moment you know: “this isn’t for me, but it’s for who I could be if I gave it a chance”. Thank you Allyssa. You’ve supported me in so many ways, and I’ll forever be grateful for you. You’ve helped me learn, grow, heal and work in ways I didn’t know I could. Here’s to getting out of my comfort zone, sometimes it just takes a little push from someone you trust.
