Built in 1907 and renovated in 2011, the historic Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah, Nevada, retained many things from its Wild West past, including the spirit of a woman murdered on the premises. In the early 20th century, the "Lady in Red" reportedly met her demise on the fifth floor of the hotel and is now a resident ghost. Guests can book the Mizpah’s Lady in Red Suite and enjoy high-thread-count bedding, a claw-foot tub and perhaps a haunting.⁠
