Our city and its citizens are suffering.

Crime, especially violent crime, has escalated out of control, making our once safe streets a nightmarish place for Londoners.

Our mayor has continued to close police stations, despite the impact this has had on knife crime rates, which have risen by 49% since he was first elected, resulting in over 1,000 murders in the capital on his watch.

Sexual crimes and robberies doubling under Sadiq Khan’s stewardship, it is little wonder that a mobile phone is stolen every six seconds in our nation’s capital… Even our personal possessions aren’t safe.

With morale at “rock bottom”, the Met Police Federation, which represents our capital’s rank and file police officers, says it has “no faith” in Sadiq Khan.

His actions have "undermined the professional, dedicated and incredibly difficult work of tens of thousands of hard-working and brave police officers from across the capital" according to Met Police Federation Chairman Ken Marsh, who went on to comment that “we are deeply disappointed with the actions of the mayor.”

Sir Mark Rowley, the Met Police's new commissioner, reported a "deeply concerning" officer shortage due to recruitment issues, with the force currently at 1,400 officers.

The crime epidemic is only worsening due to inadequate leadership, support, and a lack of a comprehensive plan to address it.

I felt compelled to stand again to be the next Mayor of London.

To be an advocate for safe streets, effective policing and community pathways to tackle the causes of crime as well as the impacts.

To stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our brave police officers, fighting against the tide of violent crime, with a manifesto promise to recruit 10,000 new officers during my time in office.

To be the leader that our city deserves. On May 2nd, it’s time to send a message to the political elite. It’s time to vote for someone outside of the establishment.

It’s time to vote for me, Brian Rose, and to support the London Real Party’s vision to transform our city for the better. Visit https://brianformayor.london to learn more.
