Cabrini had a vision of a better life for the downtrodden and impoverished. Despite all odds, she fought to create a system that would support those in need. Her devotion to serve mankind and provide comfort for the marginalized helped her succeed in creating the better life she envisioned. She was a nun, a humanitarian, a leader, and an immigrant, but she was so much more. Her memory is a guiding light on this earth- may we all be as determined as her to be kind and supportive of those around us.
