We start Monday with another senior team players profile and another player who made the britballin Northern all-stars. 

Name- Ryan Newton rnewton26

Position- RB / WR

What drew you to American Football? 
My brother and I played madden against each other and some sibling rivalry later began to really enjoy the sport and then started to watch the NFL.

How did you start playing American Football?
I play rugby and after gaining interest in the sport seeked a local team to me, being from Warrington I was stuck between Manchester or Merseyside but after some deliberation choose Titans and never have wanted to stop since!

What makes the Titans a great team to play for? 
Titans story speaks for itself, when I started the club was in division 2 with an adult team and junior program. Since then the club has strived to broaden the sport and now holds teams for every possible league from women's, flag or cadet football. Also to go alongside that achievement all the teams play in the highest bracket available to them and I've had the wonderful experience from seeing the club go from div 2 to premiership playoff football. Next step national final winners?

Favourite football memory?
The sport has allowed me to go play abroad in another country and experience a different lifestyle and I doubt I would have had that experience if it was not for this game. Alongside that winning the division 1 national final is an amazing memory I will forever remember.

Best advice you can give to someone new to the sport?
Absorb as much information as possible and give it 100% as you can make fantastic friends and experiences. And don't be afraid to try new things, I personally have played majority of positions on both sides of the ball before I knew what suited me best.
