How about a player profile of a senior team player and the recently appointed Titans Club Chairman. He was NOT recently voted into the britballin Northern all-stars.

Playing Position- Offensive Line

What drew you to American Football?
I played rugby before heading to University and after watching the C4 highlight shows I had to try this mad sport and as soon as I tried on a helmet and took place in a drill at training I knew this sport was for me. Being bigger than most people, this sport gives everyone the chance to play in a position that suits their build and skills.

What has been your American Football journey?
At the University of Birmingham as a fresher , I was a Defensive Lineman for all 3 years, while playing some Oline as a back up for 2 years. After University I joined the Lancashire Wolverines for 5 seasons. After a few years away I joined the Titans. 

From day 1 I was welcomed in by the players and the atmosphere felt right. From my first season, the team and club were improving and developing and I became involved with the Titans Womens team as a coach and both coached and played for the University of Manchester Tyrants. 

I also joined the Titans club committee as a volunteer. Most recently moving from the Club Secretary role up to now being the Club Chairman of the Titans as we head towards 2021.

What makes the Titans a great team to play for?
The Club coaches and committee are a wonderful set of people who donate their time and effort to improving the club. Their dedication feeds into the club as a whole and we try to make the Titans more than a set of teams, but more like a family with every team supporting and interacting with each other part.

Favourite football memory?
Beating Leicester in the Division 1 Semi-Final in 2017 and the scenes at the final whistle where promotion to the Premiership was confirmed. This had been the end result of over 5 years of effort by the players, coaches and committee.
