We return today with more player profiles for you to enjoy, though today its 2 of our Womens team for you to learn more about. The first player today started with us at 16 years old. 

Name- Keely Edmonds keely_edmonds99

Position- Running back / Wide receiver

What drew you to American Football? 
I was drawn to American Football when I was looking for a new challenge after I left high school that was also a good aggression release . I had some experience in rugby but I wasn’t keen as I wanted a sport that was more technical and challenged me both mentally as-well as physically, American football certainly fit the bill.

How did you start playing American
 Football?
I first saw one of the Titans advertisement online and gave it a go during one of the Titans women’s flag seasons which was where I found my feet with the sport and the team. I then played for the U17 mixed team once my first flag season was over. Once I was to old to play for the U17 team I then moved over to the Titans Women’s team which Is where I still am today.

What makes the Titans a great team to play for? 
The Titans are a team of incredible people, many of which I would consider a second family. The management and coaching of the team is also super efficient and well organised which makes it a pleasure to play for the Titans as I can concentrate solely on my performance in training and games.

Favourite football memory?
Being a finalists at King-bowl 2019 / Playing an international season in Finland

Best advice you can give to someone new to the sport?
Don’t be committed to just trying out one position and sticking with it for your entire career, be open to giving others roles a try! You might find another that suits you better at different points throughout your career and give whatever position you play 110% effort.
