Following the profile this morning of our Adult team QB, this afternoon we bring you another profile of a player selected by britballin in their North Allstar team last week.

This player joined the Titans ready for the 2020 season but due to the cancellation of the season we haven't seen him in Titans Blue yet. Though we are sure it will be worth the wait when it happens in 2021. 

Name- Sam Fossey _samfossey

Position- Defensive Back / Athlete 

What drew you to American Football? The fact it was a mix of physicality and Strategy, Without the understanding of the game the best of athletes can still fail. 

How did you start playing American Football? I played Flag football when I was 13 in Florida and when I moved back I needed to carry on and started playing contact football from age of 14! 

What makes the Titans a great team to play for? The fact everyone wants to get better and compete! Practices are fun and competitive you’re learning consistently! It’s the one team goal to win a championship 

Favourite football memory? Winning national championship with London warriors in 2013 after all the hard work we put in! 

Best advice you can give to someone new to the sport?

Learn learn learn!! Show up and commit and just ask questions Vets, coaches we are there to help you! Also go 100% every play, if you get it wrong it can be corrected!  

Anything else you want to share about yourself or the team?

The one team goal is to bring a championship to Manchester! Each practice reflex’s that and players pushing each other not just coaches! If you want the best brought out of you, come down and compete for a championship!
