We are sure this was the one everyone was waiting for when we started these player profiles of Titan Players. Recently chosen by britballin as their QB1 for the Northern All-stars, its the Adult teams Quarterback.

Position - Quarterback 

What drew you to American Football? - I’d played Rugby for a long time and a friend’s brother was playing in a game. He invited me along to watch, so I went and I then knew I had to try it. 

How did you start playing American Football? - Some friends and I started looking around for teams and eventually we found the Chorley Buccaneers! It was a bit of a drive from Lytham every week but, worth it. 

What makes the Titans a great team to play for? - The culture and the people. Everybody just gets it, they understand what we’re there to do, why we work so hard and we just hold each other accountable. There are just a so many talented and dedicated players, coaches and committee members all with the same focus. 

Favourite football memory? Winning the Division 1 National final was amazing, but it was the game before that, against the Leicester Falcons. Clinching our place in the premiership, in one of the most intense games I’ve ever played in was incredible. 
Winning that game was so important to everybody and to see our hard work pay off was incomparable. 

Best advice you can give to someone new to the sport? - Be a sponge. Everything is really fast at the start and seems too complex. But it slows down and gets easier. 

Anything else you want to share about yourself or the team? - We are all extremely excited to get back to football when the time is right. Excited for the opportunity to take things a step further this year. We are hungry to win the North and to show our calibre on the biggest stage.
