There is no way these type of comments should be accepted in our society.

Everyone plays a part in making the UK and cities like Manchester, our city, a great place to live.

Manchester is made better by the multiculturalism of the city, the mix of backgrounds and beliefs is fundamental to the city and its history. And it should be a huge part of its future.

If you cannot see a non-white family on a TV advert without losing you mind or spouting racist ideas, then YOU have the problem, not anyone else.

Racism and discrimination is not acceptable anywhere and society needs to challenge those views before they increase.

In the least shocking news of 2020, the decision by sainsburys to feature a Black family in one of their Christmas adverts has sent the British public mad on Twitter.

Sainsbury’s were forced to respond “At Sainsbury's, we want to be the most inclusive retailer. That's why, throughout all our advertising we aim to represent a modern Britain, which has a diverse range of communities. We have three stories of three different families in our advertising.”

Imagine feeling so entitled that you expect 100% of media outlets to feature someone who looks like you 100% of the time and anything less is an abomination to our society. Just put your KKK hood on and go.
