Nicohle: “We’ve been together almost 30 years. We get along. He’s my best friend. I support Liverpool. Chris supports Everton. I forgive him for that. And I think he forgives me for my support. It’s something to look forward to on the weekends.”
∙
Chris: “We did not realize initially that they were big rivals! It was probably the first year we were watching as a whole and realized the significance of the derby. It was really a flashpoint in time where we were like, ‘Hmm, our teams hate each other!’
∙
“We've each bonded with one of our dogs, so our dogs are our favorites. I have quite a few photos of Allie posing with me in my [Everton] kit. Since Allie’s my dog, she is the Blue. Diesel, also known as Virgil van Diesel, is really fond of Nicohle. So each dog has their respective human and each human has their respective team, which means each dog has a team.“ - Chris and Nicohle, a married couple so split in their PL fandom that even the family dogs chose sides. ∙
