It is chasing toddlers and stealing kisses while also being his hands and feet. It is climbing on ladders nine months pregnant and also stealing rides on his lap. It is loading and unloading the truck time and time again while also sleeping in the passenger seat. It is being talked through how to do something that he knows exactly how to do but simply cannot and it is learning how to make things accessible.

Our life is blessed in so many ways but our life is still full of so many struggles. There are times when both of us are so frustrated because seven years ago he could do anything and everything he wanted to do and yet where we sit today is filled with asking for help in the little things. It is a humbling experience and at times an exhausting experience but a beautiful experience.

The life of a wife, mom, and a caretaker is not one for the faint of heart and the hats we wear are many, but the men we do it for are so worth it. The men we do it for are the strongest men we know, and I will gladly be his hands and feet just to spend my life loving on him!" - the_wandering_wilson
