1️⃣ 2011 was a huge Opening Day ceremony for us and there was so much going on we had photographers stationed all over to capture all the special moments after winning the World Series for the first time in #SFGiants history. I was posted up near the pennant to capture this photo, which was the only photo I could get from the ceremony from that angle. It was worth it though. To me, the fans holding the pennant as Brian Wilson raises it make the photo. Opening Day is as much about the fans as the players.

2️⃣ You gotta have a confetti shot on Opening Day! I chose this photo from last year because I really feel like it captures the excitement of the day. The players, the confetti and fans really bring together a classic Opening Day photo.

3️⃣In 2014 we had Bat Kid throw out the first pitch. I chose this photo because you can see the joy in his face as he gets the ball from Matt Cain.

4️⃣ In 2016 we had Junior Giants enter the field with the team from centerfield. The kids brought the kind of energy you’d expect for an Opening Day intro, totally upstaging the team.

5️⃣ When Jon Miller let the crowd just cheer and cheer for Boch during his introduction last year it was truly a spontaneous and beautiful moment. Never one to purposefully hog the spotlight, Boch kept looking to Jon to end the moment but it was too good and the fans were too engaged for Jon to stop. Boch handled it with class and grace and it was a great Opening Day moment in Giants history.
