On this day in 2013, it was announced that former #Yankees skipper, Joe Torre, will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Torre will join Tony LaRussa and Bobby Cox in Cooperstown in July 2014 for the ceremony. The trio of skippers, who have accumulated 7,558 regular-season wins, 17 pennants and eight World Series titles among them, were elected unanimously by the 16-member Expansion Era Committee. #BronxFaithful #ThisDayInYankeesHistory
