More thoughts in the days to come, but for now I’m headed back home feeling happy and proud.
After a couple of turbulent years, and some significant life changes, it felt really great to be back out on that competition floor. It took a couple of days, but by the end it felt like home again.
Not every punch landed, but a few sure did and I competed with an intensity and urgency that don’t always tap into. Im still planning for the future, but it’s bright and I’m excited for what’s to come.

Thanks to all the fans who cheered this week, the volunteers who made the competition happen and all the competitors in the field. After last year I think I appreciated live competition more than I ever have before.

Special thanks to my family and friends who helped me take care of a new baby while I trained for the crossfitgames . Another medal on the mantle for all of you. Thanks to all my sponsors and especially to mich_letendre for helping me prepare and seeing me through the very highs and very lows of competition.
